FIRST you have to hurt the enemy pokemon, then press left directional button. After that veiw the enemy's hp, it will go away faster than usual.

The Safari Zone usaully makes you pay 500 to go in, but if you only have 300-499 you can still go in except the only difference is the guy behind the counter will give you less Safari Balls.

First go to the trainer by the water on Route 24. Next when he sees you use teleport. Next go to the trainer with the level 17 Slowpoke. Before this make sure alll the trainers on the nugget bridge and Route 25 besides these are beaten. Then after the battle walk toward the bridge and the menu will appear press B. It will be a level 1 Mew catch it and put it up front. Now walk in the grass to find a pokemon. Once you do switch you mew out and send out another pokemon and kill the foe. Mew doesn't go up to level 2 he goes down to level 100.

Do the cheat for glitch city and then fly to celadon go to the game corner and go in the basement to where you can spin around do that for the 500 steps and when you here the ding dong you will spin around when you walk and to stop go back to the game corner in the basement.

To get mew through a glitch, you should not have defeated the youngster with the slowbro near bill's house or the gambler between lavender and celadon yet. Also you must have FLY. Make sure you have a weak pokemon below or on lvl 7. Go through the underground passage just outside celadon city. As soon as you exit DON'T MOVE. Save the game then walk one step down and IMMEDIATELY press start - if done correctly the gambler will not see you. In the start menu go to a flying pokemon and fly to cerulean city. The gambler will now have noticed you. In cerulean the start won't work because it thinks you are in battle go over nugget bridge and find the youngster with the slowpoke don't walk directly at him or the game will crash let him walk to you. Defeat him and go to Lavender town. Go to route 8 where the gambler is and the START screen will automatically appear press B and you will find a battle. It will be MEW. Catch him and he is yours.

When you're in Lavender Town and in the Poke'monTower, wild spirits pop up anywhere exept thefirst floor. You won't be able to battle them -if you try, it just says '--- was too scared toattack' and the spirit will say 'Get out, getout' All you can do is run away. These areactually Wild Gastly, but they won't appear likea Gastly without a Silph Scope. To get this, gothe the town west of Lavender (Celadon), and goto the game corner. Go inside and go the the backwhere the Rocket is standind in front of a posterthing. Talk to him and when he walks away, clickon the thing on the wall. It'll say 'Push theswitch?' or something like that, then a staircasewill appear to the right. Make sure you'rePoke'mon are strong (like :L20 or so) and battleall of the rockets and collect the items andyou'll find them all if you just explore alittle. Finally when you're done beating all theRockets and you get the Lift Key, go to theelevator where it needs a key. Go on the hiddenfloors and battle those there. On the B6, whenyou step out of the elevator you will run intoTeam Rocket and a :L25 Koffing, :L25 Ekans, anda :L25 Meowth. When you beat them, go ahead andGiovanni is there. Beat him and get the SilphScope. Travel up the Poke'mon tower once againand defeat Team Rocket once again, on the top.They'll have a :L27 Weezing, :L27 Arbok, anda :L27 Meowth. Mr. Fuji, the old man ahead, willthank you and he'll give you the Poke'Flute thatwill wake the 2 Snorelaxes blocking a few routes.

When surfing with Pikachu, do your tricks 'tilthe very end of the course, then on the last wave(the biggest one), do one backflip and twofrontflips. You should receive 500 points forthis. This is difficult but not impossible.

During a duel, use a ball on the opposingPokémon. Just as the ball pops open, press andhold B. After the ball closes and wiggles twice,release B. ( the timing on this trick is crucialand very tricky. Remember that this trick olnyincreases your chances of success, and is not aguarantee. )

First you must find Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres.When you battle one of them first weaken them.Then put it to sleep and then just use ultraballs or great balls.

When you defeat Giovanni at the Viridian City Gymand get the Earth Badge and the TM, talk to himagain. He'll say some stuff, and he'lldisappear, FOREVER!

Go to sea foam islands and go inside the cave and look around a bit and you should find one. (Make sure you have a lot of great balls.)

To get Zabdoes look for one at the abandonedpower plant.

Ask someone if you want to trade their pikchu to you. When you hav it use a thunderstone to evolve it.

First use your old rod. Then turnaround and talkto pikachu.

Trade your Pokemon into a Red or Blue version andlevel up your pikachu. Trade it back into PokemonYellow and Pikachu will obey you even if youdon't have a badge.

When you hop off a ledge, don't move forward.Pikachu will be stuck on the opposite of theledge. He'll start mock walking, and, if you waita while, he'll dance.

NOTE: make sure you have 2 avaliable slots beforeyou continue!! When you are about to get one ofthe fossils in Mt.Moon, fight the trainer gardingthe fossils. Beat him and choose one of the fossils(it does not matter witch one)then go to itemesand press select and move the fossil to the sixthslotsave the game and turn it off then on andselect newgame. Then go to Mt. Moon and beat thetrainer. Then take the opisite fosil off wich youtook in your previously saved game. Then go toitems and move the fossil to the seventh spot andsave but when it says saving. Turn the power offand on then acess continue and you should haveboth fossils in your items.

At the beginning of the game go to your PC andwithdraw the potion in there. Then, once you getpikachu and he's out of the ball use it on him 6or 7 times (it will say it has no effect) andhe'll have hearts above his head.

To get max ether, go to the pokemon HQ, and when you have to surf in the water,go to the little island and walk on it. Press A button at various points and youshould get the max ether!

Catch a Caterpie in Viridian Forest. Advance it to level 7 and he will evolveinto a Metapod. Advance it to level 11 and it will evolve into a Butterfree.Butterfree can beat JR. Trainer and Geodude. Butterfree will have to be at leastlevel 13 before it can beat Brock. Note: Use your Pikachu's tail whip to lowertheir defense.

Farfetch'd can be found on Routes 12 and 13.

Magnemite can be found in grass before the rock tunnel entrance.

Get the Thunder Badge on the S.S. St. Anne, then go to Vermilion City to find Squirtle.

When you have reached the mystical bird (Arcticuno, Zapdos, and Moltres), save the game before going into battle. This will allow you to restart if you knock them out or run away.

Your Pokemon can be printed at the Pokemon Club in Vermilion City.

• Alter Toxic Damage

Pokemon Yellow Gameboy Game Cheats Age Of Empires 2

Normally when under the effects of Toxic, your Pokemon takes incrementing amounts of damage: 1/16, 1/8, 3/16, and so on, of their max HP. You can negate this by switching out; when the Pokemon returns, it will only be taking a flat 1/8 damage like regular Poisoning.

• Get Bulbasaur

After you get Squirtle, go to Cerulean city, and in one of the houses there is a lady, who has Pokemon next to her. Talk to her and she will ask you a question. Choose the top answer and she will ask you another question. Choose the top answer again and you get Bulbasaur!

• Get Charmander

There are several ways to snag Charmander. On way is to travel to Ceruleon City, and talk with the man on the other side of Nugget Bridge. The other way is to beat SS. St. Anne to port and speak to Officer Jenny.

• Get Squirtle

After getting off the S.S. Anne, and getting the Thunderbadge from the gymleader, Lt. Surge, then you can get Squirtle from Officer Jenny in the middle of town.

• Get the Diploma

Complete your Pokedex (Mew is optional) and visit the game designer in the Celadon Mansion. He will give you a diploma as a reward.

• Glitch City

This is a really neat code! So the code begins...
This is a code no one knows about. It is a really good code, and more people should know about it. The following is only informative about the Red/Blue Glitch City. The one in the yellow version is totally different. Glitch City is best done in this 8-Step process...
1.Go into the Safari Zone entrance building, and when the guy says, 'It's 500$ dollars to enter, would you like to come in', say YES.
2. Then go into the first rest house you encounter. Talk to the guy with the glasses once. Then leave early by going out the main entrance of the Safari Zone.
3.When the guy says, 'Leaving early?' say NO. You will be sent back out. Don't make a move.
4. After doing this, leave early again, and when the guy says, 'Leaving early?', say NO again.
5. Once you are back in the Safari Zone, save the game, turn it off, then turn it back on. After this, leave early again.
6. Once you leave early again, this is when the first glitch appears. Instead of the guy saying, 'Leaving early', he says, 'It's 500$ to enter. Would you like to come in?' When he says this, say NO.
7.From here, you will be sent back into Fuchsia. Pretty normal 'eh? Well the codes' not over! Once in Fuchsia, fly to Cinnabar Island. Then surf up and down the east coast (you will not find Missingno, instead you will run into Safari Pokémon. See the Safari cheat below for more information.) Now this may take about ten minutes, but it works. The amount of time you have to catch Pokémon in the Safari Zone is 500 steps, and it will be on Cinnabar Island! Remember, it takes 500 steps until time's up, so if you'd like to keep track, just count 500 steps (remember, keep on going up and down Cinnabar, and if you'd like, you can put the timer on for 10 minutes). And when you run into Safari Pokemon, just run away. It doesn't change anything. Use repel if you want to. (Trust me, it does work!)
As you can see, the 'Ding-Dong' that normally goes off in the Safari Zone happens off Cinnabar.
8. After 500 steps, you will hear a 'Ding-Dong' just like you hear in the Safari Zone when you run out of time only it's on Cinnabar Island. You will automatically be transported to the Safari Zone entrance building, and then leave the building. You will be in Glitch City!
After leaving the Safari Building, you'll be in Glitch City.
When you are in Glitch City, don't go too far to the left of the right. You will get stuck in invisible walls. You also have a chance to swim on land and walk on water! This is by far the most interesting code. In the red/blue version, if you go left to the hedge in Glitch City and jump over it, you will come to 'checkered water'. Go to the top left square, go left one space and then right one. You will be stuck, but you can surf. This is how to surf on land. If you head straight east or north, eventually you will get to the game's limits and it will shut off. Just turn the game on again and you will be returned to the last place you saved. The only way to get out of glitch city is to fly out, so if you save, make absolutely sure you have a Pokemon that knows how to fly, or you will be stuck in glitch city forever.
In the red and blue version Glitch City, this is the 'checkered-water' you will come to.
(CHALLENGE: After you leave the safari entrance building (when you are about to fly to Cinnabar Island), you can fly to another place. Flying to Lavender Town, route 17 (the bike route), or several other places during the trick will trigger a totally different glitch city. If you go to the Bike Route on step 7, there'll be a Glitch City but one in which you walk down automatically, like the bikes! However, the Glitch City resulting from Cinnabar's coast allows you to walk around more than in any other discovered glitch city.) | Submitted by MarkHarvey

• Level 5 Gyarados

Fly to Fushia city, go to the place where you get the Good Rod, go in the back yard there will be a lake fish in it with the Super Rod. After a while you should come upon a level 5 Gyarados. Note: Recommend using lots of Ultra Balls, it is almost like catching a regular Gyarados. | Submitted by MattWright

• Pikachu Stuff

1. When pikachu's really mad, he'll have a skull (I think) over his head, and he'll look like he's doing thunderbolt. When he's happy, he will jump up and down.*
2. Jump over a ledge, but don't let pikachu come off it. He will become unpatient and he will do various things after a while.
3. While you do #2, sometimes if you walk forward while he's doing that, sometimes he'll slide after you.

• Safari Zone Pokemon

Go to Cinnabar island. Go to the pokemon center, then go to safari zone and use an escape rope to go back to Cinnabar island. Then surf on the right coast line and if you did it right you will get a safari zone pokemon.
