If you want to have unlimited items, then hereswhat to do. First, take the item you want tocopy and put it sixth in your list. Next, flyto Viridian City and talk to the guy who showsyou the demonstration on how to catch apokemon. Let him show you the demonstration onhow to catch a pokemon. (Okay, you're almostthere.) Finally, fly to Cinnabar island and goto the coastline that leads you to the SeafoamIslands. Surf along the coast and do not go outof the coastline. Catch all 150 Pokemon. Then, talk to the man in the Celedon Mansion's GameFreak corner (the man that is not using the computer). He will give you asurprisediploma.

Cut down a tree and stand in its place. Save thegame. Turn it back on and you are on the tree.

When you are in the cave to go to the league, you can catchmoltes either with master ball or you can have ahaunter leave 60 or 62 put it asleep and weaken it -catch it with ultraball.
Zaptos is easy - go to the electric factory andcross through - put a sleep weaken capture withultraball. Another way is with misigno - swim by cinebarisland the side that is the direction of theislands. Make sure item is at 6 item then run. Youwill have 99 of the items you wanted.

First you choose an item you want to multiply(even a tm if you want) in the 6th slot of youritembag. Then go to Viridian city and talk to theguy that teaches pokemon catching. Say YES whenhe asks you the question.After that go toCinnibar island. Surf along the East side untilyou run into missingno,snorlax,or any otherpokemon that are higher level than 100.Either runor defeat them. then you have alot of the item.

You can tell when Missingno will appear becausewhen the screen turns black, it will last about 2seconds longer.

First go talk to the man in Viridian City thatteaches you how to catch a Weedle. Next, fly toCinnabar Island and surf along the right coast.Eventually you will run into a Pokemon thatdoesn't belong in the water. So far I have foundbird and fire Pokemon. I even found a level 128Pidgeot! It might take a while, but eventuallyyou'll find some non-water Pokemon.

To catch a ponyta while in water go to CinibarIsland. Then use surf RIGHT along the edges ofCinabar Island on the right side. This is prettyweird but you will eventually run into ponyta andothers.

To get the Flash hm you have to have 10 pokemon caught(or more). Walk down the road from pallet down all the way down till you walk through a little house with Prof. Oaks in it. Talk to him. If you have 10 or more pokemon he will give you Flash. Use this when in very dark caves, It can help you get around more quickly.

You can get 3 potions at the first parts of thegame. For the 1st one, go to your PC when you arein your room and withdraw the potion. To get the2nd potion, go up the grass and talk to theperson. He will give you a potion.The 3rd potion is hidden. Go to Viridian City andgo to the tree that you can cut that is above theman that teaches you how to catch a weedle. Facethe tree and press A. DO NOT CUT THE TREE!

First go to that one guy in Viridian City whoneeded his coffie let him show you how to catch apokemon then make sure that your master ball isin the fifth or sixth place in your pack, thenfly to Cinibar Island and surf along the edgeuntil you run into a weird pokemon calledMissingo or Mr.m or something like that beat himor run away check your Master Ball and thereshould be a weird figure by the number of masterballs and that shows you that you now haveduplicated your Master ball.(you will run out ofmaster balls so do it often)

On your way to Fushia city there is a grassy areablocked by a tree. Cut down the tree and wanderaround a few common pokemon will show up but ifyou are patient a wild Ditto will appear use asuper ball or master ball and you will have abetter chance at getting it.

First, go to Viridian City and talk to the guythat shows you how to catch Pokémon. When he asksif you are in a hurry, say 'no.' After he done,take the item you want to get 99 of and move itto the 6th place in your items list. After that,fly to Fuscha City and surf to the SeafoamIslands. Surf up and down the left coast wherethe brown beach is, it may take of few minutes, afew stupid Pokémon will pop up, defeat or runfrom them. After a while, a Pokémon will come upnamed Missingno. Do not capture him! Make himfaint or run away. After you do so check youritems list. If there is a symbol next to theamount of the item in your sixth slot.

To get 99 of any item, first put the item to bemultiplied in the sixth slot. Then, fly toViridian City. Talk to the old man almost all theway north of the town. When he asks if you are ina hurry, answer 'No'. After he explains how tocatch a Weedle, fly to Fuchsia City. Make yourway south, then when you reach the water's edge,use Surf and go to Seafoam Island. Afterarriving, swim up and down the beach untilrunning into Pokemon 'M'. Then, defeat 'M' orrun away, but do not catch him. You should now have99 of your sixth item. Note: You can do thistrick as many times as desired, and 'M' can becaught again. Instead of having to fly back toViridian City to do the trick over again (ifduplicating more than one item), the items may beswitched if you stay in the water. Additionally,instead of 'M' a level 128 Starmie (Red Version) or Snorlax (Blue Version) mayappear. Find the Missingno Pokemon and defeat him. Then adesign will appear in your sixth item. Deposityour sixth item individually until it totals 99.You can divide the items by fifty. If a no moreroom message appears, just withdraw an item andkeep depositing the sixth item. Check the CPUwhen this is complete to find two groups of 99 ofthe same item.(NOTE:if u catch missingno it canmess up your game.)

Go to any area with grass and use HM1 cut and youwill be able to cut the grass. Oh one more thingyou have to be in the grass to do this have fun.

First, put the item you want to duplicate sixth in you items. Then, talk to the man that showed you how to catch pokemon. Next, fly to Cinnabar Island and and surf on the rightest coast till you find Missingno. You can fight him or run away but after the battle, your sixth item will have 1 hundred of them. ( If your running low, repaet the process again.)

To get Bike music while not on the bike go to some cave with holes in the floor. Then get on the bike, and go through a hole. You won't be on the bike anymore but the music will still be on.

Go to the rocket game corner and when you enter the place. Press the A button and walkaround you will keep getting more coins only if you have the coin case.

Talk to the man in Viridian who explains to you how to catch Pokemon, then fly to Cinnabar and surf up and down the right hand side of the island.

To do this code you have to have the ability surfand fly. First fly to Veridian city and speak tothe old man that was blocking the road, let himteach you how to catch a pokemon. Then fly toCinnabar island and surf up and down the side ofthe island that the Gym is on untill you fight amissing number pokemon. don't fight this pokemoninstead run, what ever item you have in the 6thposition in your item list is now duplicated. itis best to use this on Masterballs, rarecandiesor any thing you want.

To make a pokeball stronger right when you seethe ball hold down and B.

Go to the Rock Tunnel entrance North of the POWERPLANT. To the right of the entrance CUT down thetree and push 'A' on the wall of the Rock Tunnel.

When you are in viridian forest right when you are about to leave fight thattrainer and go to the door. Then go down on the side the trainer is not on andkeep hitting A and it will say you found a hidden potion. This may take a while.

Go to the Safari Zone and run out of time. After you come out go to the Seafoam island and swim on the part where the groung and water meet. You will fight pokemon from the Safari. On the island surf on the right side.

There's a free revive on a statue next to the secret house in safari zone. Just look at the map below:

To get Max items put the item you want in the 6thposition. Then talk to the guy who shows you howto catch a weedle in varidian city. yes to hisquetion. Then fly cinibar island and immediatlyswim along the right side of the island. If youfind a poke'mon named Missing No. You've done itcorrectly. Then run from it and you will have aton of that item.

To get to the secret house you have to go to theSafari Zone and go to where the two squares ofwater are then go through the middle and followthe path until you go to another section you willsee a sign. It says THE SECRET HOUSE IS AHEAD.You will see an item ball at the end of the path.Get it and you can trade it with the warden forthe strength HM. Then you go left until you see ahouse with statues in front. Go in and the manwill give you a surf HM.

Go to the seventh item in 'Tools' and press Select. Get into a fight, then pressSelect on the attack you dislike to change it. Note: The monster must have allfour attack spaces filled. Win the fight. Then your monster will become level 100and will enter the next stage of its life, if available.

Note: This code requires two Game Boys, a link cable, and the red and blueversions of the game. Begin a game and find your first monster. Locate theCharmanders field and capture one of them. Link both Game Boys and rapidly andrepeatedly use the 'Trade' option. All 150 monsters should now be available.

Catch all 150 Pokemon. There is a man in Celadon City in the building whereEevee was found that gives you a very special Pokemon. He is located by takingthe path that leads behind the buildings at the farthest north point of the city.There will be a secret door in the building that is off set from the row. Climbthestairs to find a group of people working on computers, when the building isentered from the front. Talk to the man that is not working on a computer tocatchMew.Go to Shion Town and change your Koiking's nickname to 'Mew'. Highlight thethirteenth tool on the tool screen and press Select(8). Attempt to change yourKoiking's nickname again to any name. The monster will flash, but the name willremain the same. Then, Mew will now be available.Have at least fifteen items and a water Pokemon at the top. Go to any grassyarea and highlight the thirteenth item and press Select. Get in any fight and runaway, and you should have Mew.

Evolution has good and bad points. Good: Pokemon gain higher stats; youcomplete your Pokedex faster; useless Pokemon get much more effective(Magikarp into Gyarados). Bad: Pokemon learn attacks slower (Squirtle learnsHydro pump at level 42, Wartortle at level 47, and Blastoise at level 52, tenlevels longer than Squirtle).

Catch a wild Kakuna or Metapod. Put them to the day care center near CeruleanCity. Wait for them to increase at least one level up. Then, pick them up andtheywill have the same attacks as their former evolutionary stage, but not harden.

You can cut down the grass you catch Pokemon in by using the Cut move.

Dig is very effective against Ghost and Psychic Pokemon.

The item finder is only useful if you know where to look. Try dead end andsecluded areas as well as the underground tunnels.

The Poke Flute can also be used to wake up sleeping Pokemon during battles,saving money from buying extra Awakenings.

Go to Viridian City and talk to the old man. When he asks if you are in a hurry,answer 'No'. After he explains how to catch a Weedle, fly to Cinnabar Island.Surfon the side of Cinnabar that faces the Seafoam Islands. In addition to theMissingno Pokemon, regular Pokemon over level 100 will be encountered. Note:After any Pokemon over level 100 gains any experience points, it will drop tolevel 100. You can raise the Pokemon with Rare Candy up to level 255. Afterthat, they return to level 0.

Note: Another Game Boy with the game and a link cable are required for thistrick. Transfer your Pokemon to the other Game Boy. Begin a new game on theoriginal Game Boy and get a monster that was not collected in the first game andtransfer it to the other Game Boy. Repeat this step again, then transfer themonsters back to the original Game Boy. This allows your game to have the threestarting Pokemon (Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle) plus any others thatwere already captured.

Press Start, A, B (requires precise timing) to catch a Pokemon at level 15 withthe Poke Ball.

When you throw a Poke Ball, hold A as it closes in on the Pokemon. The Poke Ballwill shut tighter, making it easier to catch the Pokemon. Throw any kind of ballwhile pressing A + Select to have it act like a Master Ball or Ultra Ball.When using any kind of Poke Ball (except the Master Ball), enter a battle andprepare to throw it at a Pokemon. As soon as it appears, hold Up + B. The Ballwillbecome a Master Ball and catch the Pokemon. Note: This trick requires precisetiming.

Stand in front of any statue of a gym and use the rod to catch Water Pokemon.

This trick requires the Blue version of the game, a super rod, and five badges.Gofishing in the Pokemon HQ building. To reach the building, use the path west ofViridian City (route 22). Once inside, some annoying gaurds will ask if you havecertain badges. You will eventually reach an indoor pool/lake that must becrossed on a Pokemon that knows Surf. Go fishing here to eventually catchSlowbro, Psyduck, Kingler, Seadra, and Seaking. Additionally, a Ditto may becaught in the grass across from the lake.

In the Safari Zone, the 500 units that are allocated when entering are based onnumber of steps, not time spent. You can fish forever in the park if you go towaterand not move the entire time that you are fishing.

This trick allows an unlimited amount of time in the Safari Zone to catch WaterPokemon. Obtain a good or super rod. Next, go to the Safari Zone and find somewater. Then, go into inventory and use the rod to start fishing. If a 'Not even anibble' message appears, press A, then quickly press Start. If you got into afight, check the Pokemon out. If it is one you do not have, catch it then quicklypress Start after the battle. Return to the inventory and fish again. If youalreadyhave this Pokemon, run from it, then quickly press Start and begin fishing again.This will help you catch some good Water Pokemon with plenty of time.

You do not have to see the Pokemon in the Safari Zone to catch them. You canjust walk into it then back out and have a chance of getting Pokemon.

This trick allows you to fight Pokemon from one area of the game in another area.For example, go to the Safari zone and battle for a while. Fight a Tauros, thenleave the Safari zone. Then, go to the island where Articuno is found. Swim upanddown the shore, at the point where it appears that you are on the ground, but areactually swimming in the water. Monsters from the Safari zone will appear here.

Note: This trick requires another Game Boy and Pokemon game. Trade thePokemon to be cloned, and have the other player get a Pokemon that he or shedoes not care about. Trade them, and make sure the player receiving the badPokemon can see the other player's screen. When the Game Boy that receivesthe good Pokemon's displays 'Waiting', get ready to shut the other Game Boy off.When the 'Waiting' message disappears, turn off the Game Boy that is receivingthe bad Pokemon. When the 'Trade completed' message appears, turn off theremaining Game Boy. Both games will have the same good Pokemon when theyare turned back on. Note: Do not attempt this trick with any saved games youwish to keep, as it can corrupt those files if done incorrectly.

An Abra is hard to catch, but it is worth it. When your Pokemon are weak and youneed to get to a Pokecenter quickly, press Start and choose Pokemon. A list ofyour Pokemon will appear. If you have Abra with you, choose him and selectteleport. Note: You have to be outside first; use an escape rope if needed. Itwilltake you directly to the last Pokemon Center visited.

Enter Celadon City and get the coin case from the man in the back of the diner.Go to the slots and ask for some free coins. You will use these to play the slotsand win Pokemon prizes. Here is how to find the slot machine that pays out themost. When you walk in, there are rows of slots. Find the man to the far leftthatsays 'wins come and go'. Below him is a machine that is out of order. Play themachine directly beneath it. Do not get frustrated if you do not win constantly.Ifit stops paying out a lot, leave, go train your Pokemon, and come back later.Alsotry walking around Celadon's Game Corner and repeatedly press A to find coinsthat people have dropped. Note: This trick works more often in the 'Blue' versionof the game.

Trade all the Pokemon in your team to a friend, then trade them back. They willnow earn 1.5 times the experience points in battles.An easy way to earn experience for a weaker Pokemon is to put your lowest-levelPokemon at the top of your list. Then when a fight begins, it will be the firstPokemon released. Instead of fighting, just switch to a stronger Pokemon. Theweaker Pokemon will share the experience from the battle without being put inany danger. This is a good way to make your Pokemon gain experience evenly.You can get high experience points by using the Exp. All. Deposit the otherPokemon in the poke box in a pokemon center. Then, simply go defeat aPokemon. The experience will multiply itself by two, therefore giving the Pokemondouble experience.

Pokemon Red Game Corner Tips

Go to the hotel in Celadon City. Move to the upper right corner. Stand just infrontof the upper right hand corner, just like in the Pokemon Centers. Then, press Atoaccess the PC.

This trick is similar to the old man on roof trick. Go into Celadon City. Storeyourbike on the PC, then go to the building that leads to Cycling Road. When you tryto go past the guard, he will tell you that no pedestrians are allowed on CyclingRoad. While he is telling you this, look at the wall behind him. The old man willbeon top of the wall. When you move back by one little square, go down toward thestairs and try to get past the guard again. He will tell you the same thingagain,and this time the old man will be a little to your left.

Step to the right of the door at the gym where you get the Volcano Badge. Youshould be on the edge of the water. Use Lapras to surf out into the water. Then,come back in and go to the door. The game will say that the door is locked. Lookon the roof to find an old man.

Instead of repeatedly paying to get in the Safari Zone, save the game afterentering. Then, instead of paying again, just turn off the Game Boy and turn itback on.

Use the 'Infinite items' trick and duplicate the Master Ball. Then, use theMasterBall on all the Pokemon that you do not have to quickly capture.

Use the 'Infinite items' trick after getting 1 Protein, Iron, Carbos, and Calciumat Celadon City. Put Protein in the sixth spot, duplicate it, then repeat withIronand the rest of the items. Use them on your Pokemon to pump them up.

Use the 'Infinite items' trick with Rare Candy. Once duplicated, use the RareCandys on all your Pokemon that are at very low levels to quickly increase them.Note: The highest level possible is 100.

Go to Viridian City and talk to the old man. When he asks if you are in a hurry,answer 'No'. After he explains how to catch a Weedle, fly to Cinnabar Island.Surfon the side of Cinnabar that faces the Seafoam Islands to find the Pokemon 'M'.You may also find level 132 Mewtwos and Alakazams. Note: Obtaining 'M' cankeep the game from continuing correctly, including preventing linked battles, andother bad effects. It is recommended that 'M' be released unless you are justexperimenting with the game. By using this trick, you also have a very rarechance of getting Mew.

The North American version of the game contains the following glitch Pokemon,which is obtained by using these steps. Go to Cinnabar Island. Enter into thebuilding where the man makes Pokemon out of fossils. Enter the first room in thebuilding with people that want to trade Pokemon. Trade with one of these people;it does not matter which one. Go back outside and move to the far right side ofthe building. Then, surf up and down the side of the island while half on landandhalf in the water. Keep surfing until challenged by a glitch that resembles amicrochip or barcode. He is part bird and part water type and starts on level 80.Note: Obtaining Missingno can keep the game from continuing correctly,including preventing linked battles, and other bad effects. It is recommendedthatMissingno be released unless you are just experimenting with the game. Storethe Missingno Pokemon in Bill's PC. It will eventually turn into a Rhydon.

NOTE: You can not do this unless you still have afossil in your items, your fossil has to be inthe 6th spot. Fly to Viridian City and talk tothe old man, answer no. After he tells you howto catch a Weedle, fly to Cinabar Island. Surfon the side of the Island (1/2 on water & 1/2 onland). Until a Pokemon 'M' or Missingno appear.Then defeat them & in you 6th item spot youshould have a fossil with a symbol next to it,that means you have over 100 of it.

To get this Pokemon, go to the top of ViridianCity. Talk to the old man and answer 'No' when heasks if you are in a hurry. After he explains howto catch a Weedle, fly to Fuchsia City. Use Surfand go to Seafoam Island and surf up and down(while in the water) until Clefable appears. Itshould be at level 137.

Go to Celedon City, go to the vending machings atthe top of the pokemon mart. Buy fresh water. Itrestores 50HP, and costs 200y. potions onlyrestore 20, and they cost 300y.

First go the the Safari Zone. Then, walk out oruse up the time. After, go strait out south ofthe town to the Seafoam Island but don't land.Surf up and down on the side and you'll fightSafari Pokémon.

For infinite money, place a gold nugget in thesixth item slot and get 99 of them by usingthe 'Infinite items' trick. Sell all except oneto increase your money. Use the remaining goldnugget to repeat this procedure. Go to anyPokemart and sell the nuggets until you have$999,999.

Articuno (Seafoam Isle), Moltres (Victory Road), Zapdos (Abandoned power plant).

You must have a Haunter at level 60 to capture all of these Pokemon. Put thePokemon to be captured to sleep, then use Night Shade to weaken them. Finally,use an Ultra Ball. Hold A until the ball opens, then let it go to capture them.If it fails, try the Ultra Ball again at least three times. Note: Articuno isvery difficult to capture.Another strategy is to use a powerful Raichu and Ultra Balls for Articuno,Zapdos, and Moltres. For Mewtwo, try using Artcicuno first and freeze it withBlizzard and Ice Beam. Then, weaken it with other Pokemon before finishing thebattle with a Raichu and Poke Ball.An easy way to catch the the legendary birds (Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos) is toput them to sleep using Gastly, Haunter or Gengar. Use Dream Eater until theyonly have a very small amount of energy left. Then, throw Ultra Balls until theyare caught.

To get this Pokemon, go to the top of Viridian City. Talk to the old man andanswer 'No' when he asks if you are in a hurry. After he explains how to catch aWeedle, fly to Fuchsia City. Use Surf and go to Seafoam Island and surf up anddown (while in the water) until Sandslash appears. It should be at level 27 or 37.

You can only catch a Pikachu in Viridian Forest and the abandoned power plant.

To get Mewtwo, the rarest of all Pokemon (#150), defeat Pokemon League, and enterthe cave in Cerulean city. Mewtwo is located deep within the cave.

To get Mankey, talk to the old man that tells you how to catch Pokemon. Then, goto the first patch of grass on the way to the Pokemon League. There are manyMankeys at that location.

Fly to Fuchsia City, then use Surf and go to Seafoam Island. Surf up and downuntil Pokemon 'M' appears. Catch it, nickname it, and use one Rare Candy on it toevolve it into Kangaskhan.The following steps can also be used to easily get a Kangaskhan on the Redversion of the game, and may also work in the Blue version. Go to the top ofViridian City. Talk to the old man and answer 'No' when he asks if you are in ahurry. After he explains how to catch a Weedle, fly to Cinnabar Island. Surf tothe east part of the island. Make sure you do not go on any grassy area. Keepsurfing until a wild 'M' appears; it looks exactly like MissingNo. Capture him,then run from battle because it will act as if you did not catch him. He wouldalways be at level 0. Then, give him a Rare Candy or make it at least gain alevel. When he gains a level, he will start evolving.

To get this Pokemon, go to the top of Viridian City. Talk to the old man andanswer 'No' when he asks if you are in a hurry. After he explains how to catch aWeedle, fly to Fuchsia City. Use Surf and go to Seafoam Island and surf up anddown (while in the water) until Fearow appears.

Place a level 5 Magikarp at the front of the lineup and allow Ditto transforminto it.

To get this Pokemon, go to the top of Viridian City. Talk to the old man andanswer 'No' when he asks if you are in a hurry. After he explains how to catch aWeedle, fly to Fuchsia City. Use Surf and go to Seafoam Island and surf up anddown (while in the water) until Clefable appears. It should be at level 137.

You have to have all 8 badges. Fly to VIRIDIAN City and talk to the man who hadhis coffee. When he ask you if your in a hurry say no. Listen to him. Then fly ToCINNABAR Island. Put the rare candy in the 6 spot in your items. Surf up anddown. When you find a Pokemon Hold A. When the sceen turns Black before thepokemon appers. When the pokemon named misingno appears press run. Then you willhave 200 or more you can do this with anything.

Goto Viridian City talk to the old man that asksyou, 'Are you in a hurry' Reply 'no' Then, fly orsurf or walk to Cinnabar island, then, where thedoor of Cinnabar Island Gym is, surf, but don'tgo into the water, just stay on the greenish-bluestrip-go into item that is on start and make sureyou have times 1 atleast, press select, countfrom the first item down to item 6 and pressselect again. First of all, Nintendo didn't make this intentionally so that people can get Mew. This is a code, or otherwise a glitch in the game. The only true method of getting Mew is getting Mew directly from Nintendo, from their promotions. However, GameShark (a cheating device) may be used to get Mew (warning: GameShark may cause problems to games). And of course, this code/glitch can be used to get Mew. This method has been proven safe by many. Nevetheless, using any code/cheat/glitch should be used with caution, you are taking a risk of causing a glitch that you may not like to have. Use at your own risk.Now on to preparing to get Mew.For this code to work, there's some important things that needs to be followed. If you already finished the game, chances are, there are things you did that will cause this not to work. So most likely, if you finished the game already, this cheat won't work. And you'll see why in the below preparations in order for this to work.Make sure you follow these instructions carefully. This code works for Red, Blue, and Yellow versions. Do NOT battle the trainer at Route 8 and Route 25. If you do, the code will not work. You need to play the game from the start till the point where you get HM02 Fly from Celadon City. At that point, you can do this code. Also, make sure you have a Pokemon that knows fly with you while doing this code.Go to Route 8, and stand in front of the door in the building shown above. Be careful, to move so that the trainer near the house can't see you. This would be a good time to save your game, because you can't save the game until you got your Mew, and you may mistakes, so this will leave you at a good point to start over.When you take a step down, that trainer will see you. However, when you are taking that step down, quickly press start. If you did it right, then the menu should pop up first before the trainer can see you. If you didn't get it right, then you'll have to start over. Because you can't battle this trainer. Battling this trainer will ruin the code.Now go to the Pokemon menu, and using the Pokemon that knows fly, fly to Cerulean City. The trainer will see you. But don't worry, it's normal. You will fly off to Cerulean City before that trainer can even battle you.Now you're at Cerulean City, and go across the Nugget Bridge north of the city.After going up the Nugget Bridge, go east towards Bill's House. You won't actually go to Bill's House, but along the way, you need to find the trainer seen above. This is very important: You have to make the trainer walk up to you. So don't go in front of the trainer, it will cause your game to freeze. Walk above the trainer, so that he has to walk over to get to you. Once he walks over, and meets you, then you'll have a battle, and you have to win. It shouldn't be a problem, the only Pokemon he has is a Slowpoke at level 17. After you won the battle, fly to Lavender Town.Ok, you're almost there. At Lavender Town, go to the path seen above. Take one step towards a path, and the menu will automatically pop up. Exit the menu and you will immediately encounter Mew. Mew is only at level 7, and only knows Pound. So it shouldn't be hard to capture.

Fly to Cinnibar island, and surf on the rightcoast. You will get some land creatures but aftera while you will get a pokemon that looks likenothing known as missingo.
