Every action that you complete in this game uses energy, and when your energy runs out, you either have to pay to get more energy using gems, or simply wait it out for the energy to return. Luckily, you can skip time on your phone or tablet and get a full or partial energy restoration. Set the time ahead by about an hour or two after you run out of energy.

Even if you do not want to mess with the energy on your phone, it’s still good to wait until your energy is fully restored before you begin a mission, so that you don’t run out and end up only doing half of the actions. If you do, then set the notifications so that you will get a pop up when your energy is full, or keep checking back and completing actions as you are able to.

Gems are the premium currency of the game. It’s a short-term waste of gems to purchase more energy with them, since cheating and time management will give you all of the energy that you need. Another use for them, though, and a far more permanent one, is to purchase premium outfits in the in-game store using your gems. You’ll earn free gems every so often through actions completed in the game.

Get to know the whole area so that you know immediately where to go when you have a mission to do, and where to look for people that you can help out. Often there will be areas that missions won’t take you to right away, but go there anyways and have a look. You never know when you can find someone you’ll be able to help out.

You have to collect shields when you are doing missions in order to complete them. Do shorter actions that require 2 energy, as they pay 1 shield per action completed. Longer actions often don’t pay the equivalent amount of shields (actions which require 6 energy only pay two shields), so when possible, skip the longer actions and go for the shorter ones.
