Cheat Trainer Causes Game To Crash

The game runs very smoothly on my PC when my problem isn't happening. I have patched the game (retail version) to v1.02 and I'm using the v1.02 retail trainer. I can activate the trainer at the main menu with no problems, but once I turn on the trainer cheats in-game (I use super hp, super squad hp and unlimited ammo) the game randomly locks up.
